In Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4’s Investigation Team clashes with the Shadow Operatives of Persona 3 in stylish, combo-driven 1-on-1 battles, broken up by visual novel cutscenes that tell an all-new, original, canonical story set in the Persona universe.

Created in a partnership between Atlus and Arc System Works, the original 2D fighter was unlike anything the series had ever seen, and it was an instant fan favorite. It’s no wonder, then, that a sequel soon followed.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax both refined the gameplay of the first Arena and wrapped up its story with two unique campaigns, split between the Persona 3 and Persona 4 cast.
