A shapeshifting monster dog- a super powered raccoon- a punk show and too many pickles. A mutant triceratops try's to keep all these things in order. It's a big night in Freak Out City when Merle the miniature schnauzer loses the magic collar that stops him transforming (at random) into a giant glowing monster from another dimension. Now he's on the loose and on a rampage trying to track down the raccoon who stole it. Richard feels responsible because (of course) it's his fault the raccoon got the thing in the first place- so he (and Merle's elderly owner Doyle) go to our hero for help.
