The Original Band In Their One & Only Live Recording. Rolling Stone magazine famously dubbed the band Orleans "the best unrecorded band in America" in the early 1970s, a designation that helped the band gain recognition and ultimately led to their recording contract. This recognition came as the band was building a strong reputation through it's energetic live performances and relentless touring on the Northeastern club and college circuit, before they had even released a full-length album. Known for their 1970s hits "Dance with Me," "Still the One," and "Love Takes Time". Original members included John Hall, Larry Hoppen, and Wells Kelly, with Lance Hoppen joining shortly after.
