The Rubinoos self-titled debut album is a power pop classic containing the hit, "I Think We're Alone Now," as well as the anthemic "Rock And Roll Is Dead," which in the context of the disco-era in which this album was released, was almost accurate. At the time of release, the influential New York Rocker declared the album, "The best pop album of the decade."
