One October evening at the Châtelet, Pietragalla met Barbara in her dressing room. From that embrace, from that gaze, was born the desire for a joint project, left suspended like an unfinished promise. From her show, Pietragalla Barbara, then arose the thirst to delve further into the fragile and incandescent world of the "Lady in Black." This path, patiently traversed in the solitary complicity of creation, now finds it's setting in the sensitive and luminous piano of Yannaël Quenel, and is illuminated by an unforgettable duet with Serge Lama. Thus, the "Woman who Dances" pays tribute to the "Woman who Sings" and, in her own way, fulfills the dream shared with Barbara.
