The ninth installment of Yasushi Utsunomiya's divine sound 'Utsunomia MIX' series!The first to feature vocal tracks. Shoko Numao gracefully sings and plays guitar,followed by a duo improvisation with sara(. es), in which the two draw closer to each other and gradually let their inner passion blossom- a beautiful soundscape of space, painted in harmony with Kazuyoshi Komaki's artwork. Numao studied vocals and composition, focusing on jazz, at a university in Ireland. While her meticulous,whisper,she also possesses the courage to improvise with numerous musicians, including Yoshihide Otomo and Kazuhisa Uchihashi. Her encounter with sara(. es) was brought togetherby. The program for the day was undecided,but the moment Numao stepped into Gallery Nomaru, she immediately decided she wanted to sing while experiencing the artwork. The first performance featured Numao's song 'Tsuzumi,' while the second performance featured an improvisation with sara on piano and percussion. Thisuncut story, which began with a modest dialogue through sound, soonculminated in the intertwining of Numao's hidden passion and sara's, reaching new heights. More than a year after the previousrelease, this is the perfect start to the long-awaited second chapter of Utsunomia MIX.
