Zhala [Vinyl]

Stockholm, Sweden's Zhala is the first artist to be signed to Robyn's Konichiwa Records label. The Control Group is proud to release Zhala's North American debut- a 12" containing 5 Zhala tracks + 2 new remixes. Zhala (Rifat) was born and raised in Stockholm. She became very involved in the local art and club scene and further developed her talents as an artist through dance, singing and her live shows as well as singing in Lykke Li’s band on her Bitter Rhymes world tour. While recording the music for her first release, Zhala continued to tour - playing festivals, a unique performance at the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at Stockholm’s Moderna Museet, and most recently, opening slots for Robyn.
