Release Details

Texas Moon, recorded in 1973 for Plantation Records by the legendary outlaw artist David Allan Coe, did not see release until 1977. By then Coe had moved on to Columbia, and Texas Moon remains a capture of his early career, singing evocative covers of songs written by his heroes (Cash, Kris Kristofferson, Shaver, Browne, and more) backed by his road band. On vinyl for the first time in over 40 years, this new deluxe version of Texas Moon includes previously unreleased material from the same era.
