Wave That Will Never Break [LP]

This album marks WU LYF's first full-length release in fifteen years. Rather than arriving through traditional streaming channels, A Wave That Will Never Break was initially made available exclusively through the band's L y F community, where members were invited into a wider world of films, journals, hidden music, listening parties and early access to live events. The retail release arrives at the end of a remarkable few months for the Manchester group. Since returning with A Wave That Will Never Break, WU LYF have undertaken a series of intimate European residencies in Milan, Copenhagen, Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona, performed a run of UK outstore shows around the album's release - including a sold-out headline performance at London's Village Underground - and this past weekend celebrated the album with a special hometown show at Manchester's Albert Hall, where the band performed both A Wave That Will Never Break and their 2011 debut Go Tell Fire To The Mountain in full. Featuring exclusive new artwork unique to this edition, it follows the original members release made available through WORLDUNITE. ORG and the band's L y F community.
