The Core Crate - Vinyl
The Core Crate
Part of The Black Crate subscription series by Apocalypse Vinyl.
A monthly descent into the heart of the unknown.
This is where it starts. Or maybe ends. Depends on your vibe.
The Core Crate is for those who don’t want a genre—they want a journey. One minute you’re dropping the needle on a fuzzy protest record from 1972, the next you’re knee-deep in modern indie that sounds like it was recorded in a garage made of feedback and bad decisions.
We pull from every dark corner of the musical map: new indie, old weirdness, dusty soul, noise-pop, 80s B-sides, protest anthems, lo-fi heartbreakers, and the occasional record that just feels cursed in the best way.
No filler. No safe picks. No apologies.
You won’t know what’s coming, but it’ll make sense once it hits the table. Somehow, it always does.
Included:
Two LPs from major and underground labels, handpicked for chaos-loving ears.
Blind box style—no peeking. No repeats across your subscription.
Examples you might find: Nick Cave, The Microphones, Fugazi, Broadcast, Sonic Youth, ESG, Bill Callahan, PJ Harvey.
