The result was Dream 17, released under the project name Annette. While not quite as commercially celebrated as Voodoo Ray, Dream 17 is a cult classic - a rich synthesis of Madchester's euphoric rave energy and the raw, jackin' grooves born in Chicago's underground clubs.
