In an homage to some of those greats, West Of The West showcases Dave Alvin performing some of his favorites. Featuring songs by Merle Haggard, Tom Waits, John Fogerty, Jerry Garcia, Brian Wilson and more, the album also includes his original work Between The Cracks co-written with California native Tom Russell and bonus track Boss previously unavailable with this release.
