I Never Dreamed [LP]

1988 recording by Washington DC area piano trio led by Art Monroe with Paul Langosch - bass and Mike Smith - drums. Art was an important jazz figure and very talented and unique pianist in the DC area during the late 1980's and had a regular trio that worked together every week for many years. Monroe performs five originals and two standards, and the interplay between the fine pianist and his sidemen is impressive.
