Jermaine Stewart hailed from the mid-west of the USA and became a successful solo singer after spells as a dancer on the renowned US TV show Soul Train, a brief stint with Shalamar and backing vocalist on Culture Club's 1983 album Colour By Numbers. It is reported that the band introduced Jermaine to Arista supremo Clive Davis and a deal was done. Frantic Romantic, his sophomore album, features his biggest hit 'We Don't Have to Take Our Clothes Off'. Cherry Red. 2010.
