When the poor Mexican-American residents of a Texas town discover their ancestors' original land grant deeds and devious developers swipe them to make sure they never get filed con man-turned-Robin Hood Alejandro Toledo (Fernando Colunga) comes out of retirement to set things right. Armed with a new partner (Eduardo Yez) and a ragtag crop of cohorts, he launches an elaborate heist to get the documents back in the proper hands.
