This Videoland DVD features a 2001 performance of Franz Leha`r's romantic operetta Das Land des Lachelns (The Land of Smiles) recorded during that year's Seefestspiele Moerbisch, Austria Festival. Directed by Rolf Langenfass and conducted by Rudolf Bibl, the cast includes Harald Serafin as Count Lichtenfels and Sangho Choi as Prince Sou-Chong, who was celebrated as the new Fritz Wunderlich or Peter Anders in this role. Ingrid Habermann was also credited as having been superb in the role of Lisa.
