Enka diva Mika Shinno covers the classics song 'Tabidatsu Ashita' by Chiemi Eri, now available on her first-ever 7-inch vinyl from Kumomi Records. This release also includes a special re-edit version by MACKA-CHIN, making it a must-have for fans of Japanese vintage music (Wamono). Mika Shinno is praised not only in Japan but also overseas, including performances in New York. Her strong and emotional voice brings new life to this classic. The arrangement features rich strings from the beginning, giving it a smooth 'Philly soul' style within the Wamono sound. The B-side includes MACKA-CHIN's re-edit version. It starts with an intro made of just strings and guitar, and later features a touching saxophone solo by Yasuhiro Suenatsu, known from bands like ONEGRAM and Jaribu Afrobeat Arkestra.
