Themes From (CD)

The new album from new album from Nyx NÛtt (Aidan Moffat of Arab Strap) started out as a plan to make 20 90-second snippets designed as TV themes. But after finishing those Aidan wasn't satisfied and instead decided to dive deeper into the music, seeing full length instrumental tracks as the better choice. The result is a record that explores genre themes such as "Porno", "Caper", "Swashbuckler" and "Thriller". It almost acts as the audio equivalent of channel hopping through a unique station programmed by Moffat.
