4 Dear Life, the fourth studio album from multi-platinum indie/alternative trailblazer Gus Dapperton, arrives via ALTER Music on October 23, 2026. An independent artist for the first time in years, at the close of his twenties, he felt like he needed a clean slate to find his musical practice again. The result is inspired by his life in NYC - DJing and dancing between clubs and bars in Manhattan and Brooklyn, settling into an apartment, building routines, and the community around him. Pairing dance-driven production with his signature songwriting, the album may sound like a departure from his previous work, but it's his most honest and grounded to date. 4 Dear Life isn't about escaping the world, it's about finding enough joy to live in it. The album releases alongside Standard LP on dusk vinyl, Indie-Exclusive LP on starburst vinyl, and digipak CD.
