A debut release with collector's value: the 2025 documentation marks the beginning of the new partnership between the Donaueschinger Musiktage and WERGO. For the first time, selected audio recordings from a festival year are being released jointly with WERGO on CD and digital platforms-making the music premiered in Donaueschingen permanently accessible. The first box in this partnership is dedicated to the festival motto Voices Unbound. Raised, inner, hidden, naked, intimate and (un)sung voices: the Donaueschinger Musiktage placed at their centre composers who raise their voices-in both the literal and the figurative sense.
