'New Beliefs On Layaway' is the latest full-length album from Vancouver, B.C. based producer/multi-instrumentalist Devon Parkin. A hypnagogic-leaning electronic dream-pop journey, the album swirls with lush synths, multicoloured lo-fi textures, layered grooves, otherworldly vocals, all while exploring yearning and the catharsis of giving in to chaos. Performed and self-produced entirely by Devon Parkin, the LP blends an exploratory, maximalist approach to production with indie-pop sensibility, crafting songs that are immersive and infectious. Released on Potatohead People's new imprint Mysterybox Records.
