Combining psychedelic surf melodies, Dr. Dog-inspired harmonies, and coastal jazz energy, Portugal captures the modern California spirit in motion.Recorded 100% all-analog to tape at Audio Design in San Diego by producer Jordan Andreen (Lukas Nelson, Karl Denson, The Damned) and mastered by Joe Bozzi at Bernie Grundman Mastering, the EP sits proudly within Blind Owl's 100% Certified Analog Collection.Guitarist Zach Polletta and drummer Sean Nowland bring deep musical chemistry to each track - a sound honed by the rhythm of the coast and the warmth of tape. The project's visual collaborators, photographer Julia Crowley and videographer Tim Lowman, have been featured in Vice and Surfer Magazine, capturing the same timeless aesthetic that defines Puerto's sonic world.Pressed on translucent seafoam blue vinyl and housed in a screen-printed poly bag, each record is hand-finished in San Diego, echoing the independent spirit of the band and the label.
