First full concert album from Sparks, brothers Ron and Russell Mael, recorded in 2025.Following last year's world tour, Sparks were invited to perform a one-off show on the Moon - the first band in history to do so!Includes an introduction and outro from Cate Blanchett, who accompanied the band on their lunar trip.Sparks Live On The Moon comprises a full live set of twenty songs spanning the band's 54 year career, including 'This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us', 'The Number One Song In Heaven', 'When Do I Get To Sing "My Way"', 'The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte' and songs from their most recent album MAD!Pressed on limited edition moon-coloured marble silver double vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve.Sparks Live On The Moon follows MAD!, their acclaimed 28th studio album which reached #2 in the UK charts last year - their highest chart position to date!Since the release of MAD! Sparks have toured the globe, including their first ever shows in Hong Kong and the Moon's Taruntius Crater. 2026 has seen the band continue to play live including dates in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, UK, Holland, France and Belgium.Sparks features on the lead single from the most recent chart-topping Gorillaz album and are supporting them at their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium show later this month. In August they will be headlining the second stage at Green Man Festival and performing at Rock en Seine in Paris.
