KEBABJOHNSON's landmark debut album, Suwatte Kogu, which captures the roots of the Tokyo indie scene's uniquely distinctive band, is finally available on vinyl for the first time! Formed in Tokyo in 2005, KEBABJOHNSON is a rock band consisting of Masahiro Sugiura (Gt, Key, Vo), Haruka Hashimoto (Ba, Vo), Yoshiaki Saito (Dr, Cho), and Shinichi Sato (Gt, Cho). Based primarily in Tokyo, the band has released five CD albums and one 7-inch single to date. Suwatte Kogu was originally released as a self-produced album by the band's early lineup. Created during a period of transition involving member departures and new additions, the album was completed through recording sessions at Doing, a rehearsal studio formerly located in Shinjuku's Golden Gai, as well as at the members'homes. Featuring early signature tracks such as ""Gillespie Kibun"" and ""Nou ga Kowabatte,"" which have remained part of the band's repertoire since their early days, the album showcases KEBABJOHNSON's eclectic musicality, effortlessly moving between rock, Latin, soul, folk, and more.
