Pearl Django's sixteenth release, is titled Tableau. It's hard to believe the group has been performing and turning out CDs for over 32 years. Many of the group's fans admit to having the complete Pearl Django discography and this new release will not disappoint them. Tableaus, like the previous release, Simplicity, showcases the band's strong ensemble playing as well as their fine composing skills. Tableau has a mix of swing, ballad, Latin and waltzes. All 12 of the tunes on the CD are band member originals influenced by Django Reinhardt.
