Tzadik is proud to present a new solo piano CD by the legendary pianist and educator Ran Blake. Now in his 90s, Ran has been associated with New England Conservatory since 1967 and is one of America's greatest cultural treasures. Here he performs an eclectic program of jazz, folk, gospel, film noir, and Christmas Music in his inimitable deconstructuralist style. Produced by Ran's longtime friend and colleague Hankus Netsky, Voices is a seductive and dreamy exploration of piano music at it's most profound, and one of Ran's greatest achievements.
