Ninety-three-year-old L.A. widow Thelma Post (June Squibb) didn't have much going on beyond her visits-albeit with his hand out-from grandson Daniel (Fred Hechinger). When a phone scammer claiming to be Daniel bilks her into mailing $10,000, she settles on a more direct course than the cops or a consumer hotline... by tracking the fraud to it's source, and demanding her cash.
