The Quireboys founder songwriter, Guy Bailey, launches the eponymous debut album from his brand new project - Thirsty. Produced by legendary Rolling Stones collaborator, Chris Kimsey. The inspiration for the album derived from a unique songwriting collaboration between Guy and Russian poet Irina D. Irinas poems provided the original lyrical concept and idea for each song, which Guy then adapted, shaped and set to music. Each of the songs tells the listener a story mostly true and from the darker side of life in three minutes or less. The result is a great British album grounded in the classic rock format with thematic elements from prog, art-house, psychedelic and alternative music.
