Working for a Nuclear Free City have never been too concerned with genre and their latest release, What Do People Do All Day? Is no exception. Like much of their previous work, including a track that featured on AMCs pilot episode of Breaking Bad, it can be difficult to pinpoint a genre but it is not lacking in stylistic coherence. The end result I an expansive, pop-tinged, experimental album that can be as propulsive as it can be restrained, bring to mind artists as diverse and brilliant as Beck, Brian Eno tand Super Furry Animals.
